Simon MacVarish

Simon MacVarish is an experienced blade technician and rope access supervisor with a strong background in wind turbine maintenance and structural assessments. Currently serving as a blade technician and team lead at Rope Access Sverige AB since January 2018, Simon specializes in composite repairs and metal spot checking on Siemens, Senvion, and Enercon towers. Previous roles include blade technician for Renewable Technical Services Ltd, working on Senvion MM 92s, and various positions at FairWind A/S, TRAC Engineering Ltd, and QTS Group, focusing on vegetation clearance, structural repairs, and offshore wind park projects. Simon's career also includes significant work with Stork on the Brent Delta decommissioning project and experience in leading avian pest control projects at GECKOTECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED. Education includes studies at UHI North Highland and Plockton High School.
