Scott Abramowitz

Scott Abramowitz is a partner in the private equity transactions practice group at Ropes & Gray LLP in New York, a position held since October 2019. With extensive experience in representing private equity funds, portfolio companies, and corporate clients, Scott specializes in complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged buyouts. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Scott served as a partner in the private equity department at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP and held associate roles at both Kramer Levin and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Scott earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University.
