Mikko Uotinen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Mikko started their career as a Project Manager at Tekla from 2000 to 2004. Mikko then worked as a Project Manager at Tieto Oyj from 2004 to 2005. After that, they joined Entegra Oy as a Consultant from 2005 to 2007. Mikko then moved on to Enfo, where they served as an Account Manager from 2007 to 2011 and later as a Senior Specialist and Sales Manager from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they are working at Ropo Capital, initially as an Account Director from 2014 and subsequently as a Sales Director starting from 2023. In their current role, Mikko focuses on innovating new services and creating better business processes for customers, aiming to increase company growth and offer improved financial processes.

Mikko Uotinen has a diverse education history. Mikko began their academic journey at Pohjois-Karjalan AMK, where they pursued a degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Eastern Finland and completed their studies in computer science, earning an FM degree between 2000 and 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Mikko Uotinen has acquired several certifications. In November 2013, they obtained a certification in Sähkön vähittäismarkkinatutkinto from Adato energia Oy. Then, in June 2012, they completed the Key Account management certification at Aalto University. Earlier certifications include the ITIL foundation v3 from Wakaru Oy in November 2011 and the Krauthammer supervisor training program from Krauthammer in September 2011.
