Valérie Le Bihan has a diverse work experience at Roquette. Valérie started in 2001 and held various roles in the Food Nutrition & Health Business Unit. Valérie was the Market Development Manager for Confectionery, where they were responsible for market segment, key account, and geographical strategies. From 2006 to 2011, Valérie led the global rebranding and repositioning of Maltitol into Sweetpearl™ maltitol as the Marketing Manager. Valérie then became the Microalgae Project Leader for Europe, overseeing the commercial and marketing activities for the Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals joint venture. In 2013, Valérie transitioned to the role of Global Microalgae Products Manager, focusing on market analysis and customer insights. From 2016 to 2021, they served as the Head of Marketing Communications, leading global marketing communications and digital marketing for Roquette's Americas, Asia, Europe, and India regions. As of January 2021, Valérie is the Head of Global Marketing - Food Specialties at Roquette.

Valérie Le Bihan completed their undergraduate studies at the Ecole nationale d'Ingénieurs des Techniques des Industries agricoles et alimentaires from 1998 to 2001, earning a degree as an Ingénieur in the field of Agro-alimentaire. In 2001, they completed a Master of Science degree at ENSAIA. Currently, in 2021 and 2022, they are pursuing a customized programme in Management & Leadership at EDHEC Business School.
