Jon Craton

Jon Craton is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in the technology and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Chairman of Science Creates Ventures Fund 1 since September 2020, Jon is instrumental in fostering the deep tech ecosystem in Bristol. In addition, Jon has been Chairman and Investor at Rosa Biotech since January 2019, focusing on innovative biosensing solutions. Previously, Jon co-founded Zynstra, where Jon served as Chairman from January 2012 to December 2019, contributing to advancements in cloud computing. Alongside these roles, Jon has held positions such as Non Executive Director at PowerOasis and Advisor for Amdocs OSS Division. Jon's career began with founding Cramer Systems in 1996 and leading business development at IPL, showcasing a strong foundation in technology and systems engineering, supported by a BSc(Hons) from the University of Bath.
