CEO at Rosendahl Design Group

Mette Maix is the current CEO of Rosendahl Design Group. Mette has previously held positions as CEO of Good Food Group A/S, Flying Tiger Copenhagen, and Matas A/S. In addition, they have served as a member of the board of advisors for SPORTMASTER - Vild med sport and as executive vice president of Dansk Supermarked - Kædedirektør føtex.

Mette Maix began their career in 1749 with the paper Kjøbenhavnske Danske Post-Tidender. Mette later developed into Berlingske and has been with the company ever since. In 2016, they became the CEO of Berlingske Media, which owns the three major Danish news brands Berlingske, BT, and Weekendavisen, as well as a number of digital activities and the national radio channel Radio24syv. Under their leadership, the company has thrived, reaching 661.000 readers and 2.4 million web users each month.

In September 2012, Maix became the executive vice president of Dansk Supermarked - Kædedirektør føtex. In this role, they were responsible for the supermarket chain's operations, including its 1,500 stores in Denmark, Germany, Poland, and Sweden. In January 2016, they left Dansk Supermarked to become the CEO of Flying Tiger Copenhagen.

At Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Maix oversaw the company's global expansion. During their time as CEO, the company opened more than 600 new stores in 30 countries. In May 2019, they stepped down from their role at Flying Tiger Copenhagen to return to Rosendahl Design Group as CEO.

Rosendahl Design Group is a Danish design company that manufactures and sells products for the home. The company was founded in 1984 by Niels Rosendahl and has been headquartered in Copenhagen since its inception. Rosendahl Design Group's products are sold in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Mette Maix has completed the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, as well as Cand.Negot med fransk at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark.
