Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with over a decade of expertise in developing collaborative educational technology solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. In the current role, Chris focuses on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels, having previously contributed as a firmware engineer. Prior experience includes electronics design for educational devices at Science Alberta Foundation and teaching assistance at the University of Calgary. Earlier in the career, Chris worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
