Hugo Montanari

Hugo Montanari is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as Managing Director at Rosewood Hotel Group since December 2022. Previously, Hugo held the position of General Manager at Jayasom Pte. Ltd. from July 2020 to November 2022, overseeing the pre-opening phase of a health and wellness resort. Hugo's extensive tenure with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company spanned eight years, during which responsibilities included Multi-Property General Manager overseeing the openings of The Ritz-Carlton, Rabat, and Ritz-Carlton, Tamuda Bay, as well as roles as General Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, and EAM Rooms. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Front Office Services at The Plaza, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, and various managerial roles at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Hugo holds a Bachelor degree of Science in Hospitality Management from EHL, completed in 2006, and A Levels in Business Studies, French, and Physical Education from Milton Abbey School, completed in 2000.
