Jan Arentoft Nielsen

Jan Arentoft Nielsen is a seasoned Business Process Officer at Roskilde University, with a focus on the Danish universities’ common digital application and admissions system, DANS. Since September 2014, Jan has been pivotal in the development and optimization of business processes within the RUC Admissions team, with responsibilities that include process analysis, system administration, and the implementation of robotics process automation solutions. Previous roles at Roskilde University include Project Team Member for study administrative systems, as well as a temporary Study Secretary. Jan’s experience also encompasses a position as an Academic Employee at the National Agency for Quality and Supervision, and an internship at the Royal Danish Embassy in Zagreb. Jan holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by foundational education at Allerød Gymnasium and Lillerød Skole.
