Susanne Sørensen

Susanne Sørensen is the current Dean of Natural & Mathematical Sciences at Roskilde University. Prior to their current position, they served as Head of Section, Ingredients and Dairy Technology at the Department of Food Science at the University of Copenhagen from July 2012 to January 2018. From January 2008 to June 2012, they were the Head of Department at the Department of Basic Sciences and Environment at the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. From July 2004 to December 2007, they served as Head of Department at the Department of Natural Sciences at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL). And from April 1996 to June 2004, they were the Head of Department at the Department of Chemistry at KVL. Sørensen began their career as a Research Assistant at the Department of Biochemistry and Nutrition at the Technical University of Denmark from January 1994 to March 1996.

Dr. Susanne Sørensen is a Danish scientist who has earned degrees in both Chemistry and Immunochemical analyses of antinutritional components in pea from the Technical University of Denmark. Susanne also has a certification from the CBS Executive Fonden in Effektiv Strategisk Ledelse Gennem Positiv Psykologi.

Their manager is Hanne Leth Andersen, Rektor. They are on a team with Peter Kragelund - Dean of Social Sciences, Andreas De Neergaard - Dean of Technology and Health Sciences, and Peter Lauritzen - University Director.
