Victor Filimonov

Victor Filimonov began their work experience in 2005 as a Coil Tubing Engineer at Schlumberger. In 2006, they joined Rosneft as a Geosteering Engineer, where they worked until 2013. During their time at Rosneft, they were promoted to the role of Head of the Well Placement and Geosteering Center. In this position, they managed a team of over 100 specialists, developed drilling programs, and implemented several services, which replaced external contractors.

Victor Filimonov obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemistry from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) between 1999 and 2004. Victor then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Reservoir Engineering from Heriot-Watt University from 2005 to 2006. Later, Victor earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Oil and gas business management from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) from 2019 to 2021.
