Mark Glaisher

Senior Firmware Engineer at Ross Video

Mark Glaisher has over 19 years of work experience in the field of embedded systems engineering and software development. Mark is currently employed as a Senior Firmware Engineer at Ross Video since February 2020. Prior to their current role, they worked at Synopsys Inc from April 2016 to February 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer in Security R&D. In this role, they developed and specified embedded hardware/software cryptography and security implementations, along with implementing cryptographic libraries with hardware acceleration. Mark was also responsible for feature development and performance optimization.

From November 2012 to April 2016, Mark worked at Blackberry as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer. Here, they collaborated with the Technical Lead Operating Systems and specialized in identifying and implementing performance enhancements at all system levels. Mark also conducted competitive technical analysis and delivered optimizations and feature development on Blackberry handheld device OS software.

Before that, Mark worked as a Technical Consultant at Symbian from April 2008 to February 2010, specializing in device bring up, performance optimization, and critical bug fixes for Symbian OS OEM licensees. Mark started their career as a Graduate Software Engineer at STMicroelectronics from January 2004 to April 2007. Mark also had a prior undergraduate placement as an Engineer at Simulation Systems LTD from June 2001 to July 2003.
