Mauro Madeira

Mauro Madeira has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mauro started their career as a Software Engineer and C/C++ Programmer at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from March 1993 to September 1995. Following this, they joined UNISUL as a Full Time Professor from August 1993 to July 2011, where they taught various programming languages and computer science topics, as well as worked on in-house IT projects. In 2012, Mauro joined Valtec as a Senior QA Analyst until January 2018. At Valtec, they gained experience in QA analysis and testing. From September 2017 to May 2019, Mauro worked at Innovapost as a Senior QA Analyst - Automation Engineer, where they developed an automation framework and a components library for reusability. Mauro also set up a Webdriver grid support for various devices, applications, browsers, and environments. Most recently, Mauro joined RossVideo in May 2019 as a CI/CD Developer.

Mauro Madeira pursued their education with a strong focus on computer science and software engineering. Mauro began their academic journey in 1986 at the Universidade Católica de Petrópolis, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science in 1991. Mauro then chose to further delve into their field of interest and pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 1992 to 1995. Building upon their previous achievements, Mauro Madeira continued their education at the same institution, obtaining a Doctor of Engineering (Dr. Eng.) degree in Human Computer Interaction between 1998 and 2003.
