Michelle Guo

Michelle Guo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michelle most recently worked at Ross Video as a Senior Product Verification Specialist, starting in January 2019. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at IBM, where they held various roles. From August 2011 to January 2019, they were an IBM OpenPages Quality Engineer. Before that, from May 2008 to July 2011, they were an IBM Cognos QC Analyst, working on products such as Cognos Insight, TM1, Transformer, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, and Cognos connection. Earlier in their career, they worked as a QC Analyst at Cogno from July 2006 to May 2008. Michelle also held positions at Computer Horizons as a Senior Tester from March 2005 to June 2006, at Keane Canada Inc as a Senior Consultant from April 2004 to March 2005, at EIS as an Oracle DBA/Developer from September 2002 to May 2003, and at Nortel as a Software Designer from January 1999 to January 2002.

Michelle Guo completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering at Tianjin University. Michelle then pursued a Master's degree in System Science within the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering at the University of Ottawa, which they completed in 1999.

Additionally, Michelle obtained several certifications from prestigious institutions. In 2003, they became an Oracle Certified Associate in Oracle Forms 9i PL/SQL Application Developer, followed by an Oracle Certified Professional in Oracle 9i Database Administrator. In 2004, they obtained the Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD) certification from Sun Microsystems.
