Shouqing Zhang (Shawn)

Shouqing (Shawn) Zhang has extensive work experience as a software engineer, starting back in 1998. Shouqing (Shawn) has held various senior software developer and software engineering contractor roles at companies such as Bitflash I.T. Solutions, Corel Corporation, PCI Geomatics, and QNX Software Systems. Shouqing (Shawn) also worked as a senior software developer at Research In Motion, where they were responsible for developing software. Prior to that, they joined Espial Group Inc as a senior software developer, where they worked on porting Webkit to customized platforms and developed features for hardware accelerated graphics rendering. Shouqing (Shawn) also researched new technologies to ensure the product's leading position in the industry. After their time at Espial, Shouqing worked as a contract software engineer at Harris Corporation. Shouqing (Shawn) currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Ross Video, where they started in May 2021.

Shouqing (Shawn) Zhang has a comprehensive education history in the field of computer engineering. Shouqing (Shawn) began their educational journey at Xi'an Jiaotong University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the University of Sussex and completed their Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from 1992 to 1996. After their Ph.D., they continued to expand their expertise by working as a Post Doctoral Fellow Researcher at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Lastly, they attained a Master's degree, M.Sc, in Computer Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
