Travis Wigley

Travis Wigley has over 19 years of experience in the broadcast industry. Travis started their career at Channel Nine South Australia as a Project Engineer, where they focused on system and workflow design for HD ingest and presentation. Travis also designed and built interconnecting equipment and software to automate manual tasks. Additionally, they managed the administration of the station's Broadcast and office LAN.

After their time at Channel Nine, Travis joined Techtel as a Broadcast Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for scoping, planning, and designing broadcast systems, including studio, presentation, and transmission. Travis integrated various broadcast devices and wrote custom interfaces to APIs. Travis also provided diagnosis, troubleshooting, and technical support.

Travis then moved to Ross Video, where they held various roles. Travis started as a Technical Support Specialist, providing phone, email, and onsite technical support to major US national networks. Travis also performed equipment installation, technical training, and commissioning services. Travis assisted the sales team with product demonstrations, quotes, bids, and proposals.

Travis then became an Implementation Project Manager at Ross Video. In this role, they led worldwide project implementations of Ross Video production equipment, ensuring they met budgets and timelines. Travis coordinated with third-party vendors to ensure compatibility between Ross and third-party CGs, Newsroom Systems, Video Servers, and Robotic Cameras. Travis also provided presales technical assistance, product demonstrations, presentations, and system design.

Most recently, Travis served as the Manager of Technical Sales - Asia Pacific at Ross Video. In this role, they managed a team of 5 Broadcast Engineers, responsible for the day-to-day activities of the regional Technical Solutions Architects. Travis led the hiring, motivation, and management of the team, including recruitment, leading team meetings, scheduling tasks, approving work, monitoring progress, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating team members. Travis also completed performance reviews.

Throughout their career, Travis has demonstrated expertise in broadcast system design, technical support, project management, and team leadership.

Travis Wigley graduated from the University of South Australia in 2003, where they obtained a degree in Engineering with a focus on IT (Telecommunications). Prior to that, they attended Gleeson College, although specific details regarding their degree or field of study are not available.
