Michael McFerraz M.ed.

Michael McFerraz, M.Ed., has extensive experience in education and environmental science. Currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Roswell Independent School District since August 2006, Michael oversees staff development, supervision, and school safety in a middle school located in a low-income area. Previously, Michael worked as a lead Freshman Science Teacher and Lead Environmental Science Instructor, coordinating the Annual Roswell High School Science Fair Expo. Prior experience includes serving as a Range Tech GS-7 for the Bureau of Land Management from August 2000 to August 2007 and as a Personnelman Third Class in the US Navy from 1991 to 1995, where responsibilities included managing personnel records and training. Michael holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fishery Sciences, both from Eastern New Mexico University.
