Kerry Rupp has had a long and varied career in the venture capital and startup space. Kerry began their career in 2010 as the CEO and General Partner of DreamIt, overseeing the accelerator business and all of DreamIt's venture funds, and directly leading several of the Philadelphia and Austin programs. In 2015, they became a General Partner at True Wealth Ventures, investing in women-led companies that are improving human and/or environmental health. That same year, Rupp also became a Mentor at Capital Factory, a center of gravity for tech startups and entrepreneurs in Austin, Texas. In 2016, they became an I-Corps National Faculty at the National Science Foundation, leveraging Steve Blank's LeanLaunchPad curriculum to provide real world, hands-on training on how to successfully incorporate innovations into successful products. In 2017, Rupp joined BrainCheck as a Board Observer, and in 2019 they joined Ocean Approved, Inc. and VidaFuel as a Board Observer and Board Director, respectively. In 2021, Rupp joined Rosy Wellness, Inc., reHarvest Provisions, and Flourish as a Board Director.

Kerry Rupp began their educational journey at Lake Forest High School. Kerry then attended Duke University, where they earned a BA in Biology in 1993. After that, they attended Harvard Business School, earning an MBA in 1999.
