Sari Miettinen

Sari Miettinen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international relations and development cooperation. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist for Nordic and Baltic Countries and Poland at Rotary International since May 2015, Sari has previously held roles as Specialist and Advisor for Nordic countries within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Director at Incomindios and Social Media Consultant at CFD. Sari's project management expertise encompasses work on the Indigenous Portal Project and initiatives for Indigenous Peoples at the UN World Summit on Information Society. Academic credentials include a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Development Cooperation from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in General History, International Relations, Mediaculture Studies, and North American Studies from the University of Tampere. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Arts in Service Design at the University of Lapland, Sari Miettinen is committed to fostering intercultural understanding and cooperation.
