Lee Blankenship has a distinguished history of service and legal expertise, with over four decades of involvement in the Rotary organization since joining the Salinas Steinbeck Rotary Club in November 1982. Notable roles include serving as Club President from 1988 to 1989 and holding various district positions, such as District Conference Chair and Assistant Governor. Lee is recognized as a multiple Paul Harris Fellow within The Rotary Foundation. Lee's legal career encompasses significant roles as General Counsel for the Transportation Agency for Monterey County and Assistant County Counsel for the County of Monterey, following earlier work as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Los Angeles. Academic credentials include a JD from USC Gould School of Law and an AB in History from Harvard University.
