Gaurav Singal, MD has been working in the healthcare industry since 2009. In that time, they have held a variety of roles in various companies. In 2009, they co-founded MyHealthChecklist.org, an online resource for individuals to receive tailored preventive health recommendations based on current clinical guidelines and their personal risk factors. Gaurav also founded RotatingRoom, an international resource for medical students and health professionals to find and post temporary housing, serving every medical school in the country with over 1M views a year. In 2013, they were a consultant for Third Rock Ventures and a Product Manager for QPID Health (acquired by eviCore). Gaurav also served as Chief Data Officer for Foundation Medicine, where they conceived and implemented their data strategy which ultimately supported a $5.4B acquisition by Roche. In 2017, they were a Board Observer for COTA, Inc. Additionally, they have held roles as Attending Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as Faculty and Member of the Board of Advisors for Harvard Medical School. Gaurav is currently advising, building, and investing in a portfolio of healthcare companies spanning therapeutics, diagnostics, data science, private equity, and venture capital, from seed stage to Fortune100, while also incubating some newco concepts. Gaurav is particularly interested in applications of data science and technology across all of these domains, especially novel approaches to clinical development, RWD, and computational diagnostics.

Gaurav Singal, MD has a comprehensive education history. Gaurav received their MD (Honors) from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a BS (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in 2005. After graduating, they completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital from 2010 to 2014.
