Bianca Forte

Bianca is an alliance manager with several key interests: 1) help the scientists develop collaborations with businesses, from 1:1 long-term relationships with single companies to multi-disciplinary consortia with several players in industry or new joint business ventures with external partners; 2) coordinate the strategic alliances that Rothamsted Research has with businesses, such as a multi-million pound investment by Syngenta into translating our excellence in wheat science into cutting-edge technologies; and 3) work with the CEO of the Rothamsted Centre for Research and Enterprise (RoCRE) to develop the institute campus in Harpenden as an internationally attractive cluster for agri-tech start-ups and for small and medium sized enterprises.
