Richard Ostler is currently the Head of Research Data & Systems at Rothamsted Research, leading a team of research data managers and research software engineers. With a background in data management and programming, Richard has previously held positions such as Head of Data Management and Programming at the Centre for Cancer Prevention and Acting Clinical Trials Applications Manager. Richard also has experience as a Senior Clinical Database Programmer at the Cancer Prevention Trials Unit and an Applications Developer at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. Richard holds a Master's degree in Computational Biology from the University of York and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The University of Sheffield.
