Sam Holegar

Sam Holegar has a strong background in business intelligence and analysis. Sam started their career as a Business Analyst at Peymaneh Civil Co in 2006 and later became the Business Analysis Manager. In 2015, they joined System Group I همكاران سيستم as a Business Intelligence Specialist and eventually became the Business Intelligence Team Lead. Currently, Sam is working as the Business Intelligence Lead at Rothamsted Research, starting in 2023.

Sam Holegar attended the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad) from 1994 to 2001, where they obtained a Diploma in Mathematics. Sam then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science at the University of Tabriz from 2001 to 2006.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Sam continued their education at the University of Tehran from 2014 to 2017, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Information Technology Management.

In addition to their formal education, Sam has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they received an ISO 9001:2008 Audition certification from TÜV InterCert - Group of TÜV Saarland. In 2014, they completed the Data Science Specialization and R Programming courses, receiving certifications from Coursera. In 2018, Sam obtained a certification in Python Programming from the institute "پژوهش و آموزش همکاران سیستم". Sam also completed a certificate program in Machine Learning with R from the same institute in 2019. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Applied Big Data Fundamentals from Faratar Az Danesh (Beyond Knowledge) in 2019 and in Tips for Working Remotely and How to Create a Perfect Elevator Pitch from LinkedIn in 2023.
