James Webb

James Webb is a Managing Director at Rothschild & Co, where responsibilities focus on the metals and mining industry, particularly the battery metal value chain within the clean energy transition. Promoted in April 2022, James has extensive experience in M&A, restructuring, DCM, ECM project execution, and business development, managing teams across various workstreams and providing clients with comprehensive financial and strategic advice. Prior to Rothschild & Co, James served as an Executive at Ernst & Young, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in the investment management audit group and participating in a high-performance development program in Sydney. James began the professional journey with internships at Universidad de Guadalajara and Eurogroup Vacances. Academic credentials include a Master's in Finance from London Business School and a BA Honours in French and Hispanic Studies from the University of Nottingham, along with a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
