Paulo Varela Nunes Rba, Caia

Paulo Varela Nunes RBA CAIA currently serves as the Country Head for the Netherlands at Rothschild & Co since April 2024. Prior to this role, Paulo was the Head of Business Development Europe at BTO (BetterTradeOff) from November 2022 to April 2024, focusing on business development for a FinTech start-up that offers a life-planning platform. Paulo's extensive experience includes positions at BlackRock, where responsibilities included overseeing the Dutch Sales & Sales Support team and leading Wealth/Retail Sales from May 2010 to August 2021. Additional roles include Sales Director at Fidelity International and Delta Lloyd Asset Management, as well as various sales positions at Delta Lloyd Securities and Rabobank Amsterdam. Paulo began a career in finance at De Nederlandsche Bank and holds degrees from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and IBO Zeist, complemented by a CAIA designation obtained in 2014.
