Markus Göddertz has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Markus is currently the Head of Sustainability & Project Office at Rotkäppchen-Mumm since February 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Deutsche Telekom, including Strategy Lead Group Sustainability from February 2018 to December 2022, Finance Technology & Innovation from July 2016 to February 2018, Vice President Group Strategy & Transformation from January 2015 to June 2016, Vice President Investor Relations from February 2012 to December 2014, and Senior Manager Investor Relations from August 2008 to January 2012. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Markus was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Criggle GmbH from 2007 to 2011. Markus also worked at T-Mobile as the Executive Assistant and Head of Board Member Support for the CFO from August 2006 to August 2008. Markus started their career with an Executive Management Program at Deutsche Telekom from June 2005 to August 2006. Their early experience includes a Bank Apprenticeship and Investment Banking Analyst role at Sal. Oppenheim from 1998 to 2001 and serving in the Nato Crisis Reaction Force at Bundeswehr Wir. Dienen. Deutschland. from July 1997 to July 1998.
Markus Göddertz has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Cologne, where they focused on Controlling, International Accounting, and Tax Law. In 2014, they completed a program in Developing Strategy for Value Creation at the London Business School. In 2020, they attended RWTH Aachen University for a course on the Fundamentals of Life Cycle Assessment for Industrial Products. Additionally, in 2023, they obtained the title of Certified Climate Protection Officer from Vorest AG.
