Vesa Sinisalo

Vesa Sinisalo has a diverse work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and operations sector. Vesa is currently working as the Operations Director at Rototec since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Operational Excellence Leader at Nordec Oy from February 2022 to February 2023. Vesa also worked at Neles as a Project Manager for Operations from November 2020 to February 2022. Before that, they held the role of Value Stream Manager, Heavy Stream at both Neles and Metso, where they managed the Heavy Stream at the Helsinki Plant including machinery and assembly. Vesa's experience at Sandvik includes roles such as Development Manager and Production Development Engineer. Vesa began their career at Metallisorvaamo Sinisalo, a family business, as a Technical Development Engineer.

Vesa Sinisalo has a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (Supply Chain and Operations Management) from LUT University. Vesa obtained their degree from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK, from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their educational background, Vesa has obtained several certifications. Vesa completed the "Leading@Metso, Managers roadmap" certification from Metso in November 2019. In May 2018, they obtained the "LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt" certification from Quality Knowhow Karjalainen Oy. Lastly, in September 2017, they completed the "Sandvik Global Leadership (SGL)" certification from Sandvik.
