Janet Eagleson

Janet Eagleson currently serves as the Manager of Public Affairs and External Relations for the Town of Caledon, beginning in February 2024. With extensive experience in communications, Janet has been a Senior Hockey Writer for RotoWire.com since 2003. Prior to the current role, Janet spent over 22 years at the Region of Peel, culminating in the position of Manager for Strategic Client Communications in Health Services. In this capacity, Janet led teams in various high-stakes communication initiatives, including a significant role in the COVID-19 Public Health response. Janet's educational background includes an Executive and Leadership Coaching Certification from Coach Academy, an Executive Certificate in Neuroscience for Business from MIT Sloan School of Management, and an Executive Certificate in Psychology of Leadership from Cornell University, complemented by an Honours Bachelor's degree in Applied Health Sciences from the University of Waterloo.
