Marlies Hak is an experienced innovator currently working at Rotterdam The Hague Airport since January 2023. Previously, Marlies served as a Consultant Sustainable Airports at NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre from October 2018 to December 2022, leading various national and international projects focused on sustainability in airport operations. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager at ARS Traffic & Transport Technology from October 2015 to September 2018, managing initiatives related to smart mobility and logistics planning. Notable early achievements include leading the Nuon Solar Team at TU Delft, overseeing the development of the Nuna7 solar car that won the 2013 World Solar Challenge, and completing a full-time internship as a Junior Engineer at Diamond Aircraft. Marlies holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente.
