Janpier Brands

Janpier Brands is a seasoned cultural manager with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Manager at Hogeschool Rotterdam since November 2022, Janpier is involved in the merger of Willem de Kooning Academie and Codarts, alongside the Erasmus University. Previously, Janpier held the position of Algemeen Directeur at WORM from February 2017 to November 2022, where the organization gained recognition as the Netherlands' Podium of the Year in 2018. Other notable roles include director at stichting Harmoniekwartier, teacher, coach, and manager at Minerva Academie, management and marketing at Eurosonic Noorderslag, co-boss at Talisman, and head of performing arts at Kunstencentrum Groningen. Janpier's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Art and Education from Hanze and earlier studies at NHL Hogeschool.
