Rough Country
Tim Watts has a diverse and extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Tim most recently served as the VP of Sales at Rough Country since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales and Admin for Rough Country from January 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Rough Country, Tim held various positions at Transamerican Auto Parts, including Category Director - Suspension & Performance from July 2018 to January 2020. Tim also worked at Transamerican Manufacturing Group as a Suspension Category Manager from October 2016 to July 2018. Tim served as the President of SUPERLIFT LLC dba Superlift Suspension Systems from July 2013 to October 2016, and as the VP Sales and Marketing from July 2005 to June 2013. Tim was a Board Member at SEMA from 2008 to 2016. Tim also worked as the General Manager at Black Diamond Off Road Products from July 2000 to June 2004. Tim'searlier work experience includes roles such as National Sales Manager and Sales Representative at Superlift Suspension Systems from 1993 to 2000, as well as working in the Parts Department at McKinney Honda from May 1989 to April 1993.
Tim Watts attended Choudrant High School from 1986 to 1989. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University in 1989 and completed their studies in 1991. The degree and field of study for their time at Northeast Louisiana University are not specified.
Rough Country
Rough Country was founded in 1975 as one of the original off-road shock manufacturers with the classic, yellow-colored shock bodies still seen on the occasional Jeep CJ or squarebody truck to this day! In 1986 Rough Country was purchased by Heckethorn Products Inc, one of the first major manufacturers of aftermarket Jeep Steering Stabilizers. In 2018 Rough Country debuted Vertex: a new line of upscale reservoir shocks and coilover struts to rival other high-end options on the market.
