Bassel El Turk

Bassel El Turk has a diverse work experience in the fields of intellectual property and brand protection. Bassel started their career as a Junior Associate at Rouse in 2006 and gradually advanced to the position of Senior Associate in 2011. Bassel became a Partner at Rouse in 2016 and eventually assumed the role of Principal - Country Manager UAE & KSA in 2018. In addition to their roles at Rouse, Bassel also served as a Board Member for Gulf Brand Protection Group from 2009 onwards. Bassel is currently working as the Vice President of the AIPPI UAE Group since December 2021 and has actively contributed to the International Trademark Association as a member of the Program Advisory Council from 2020 to 2022.

Bassel El Turk obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Université La Sagesse in 2004. Bassel then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, completing it in 2005. Prior to their university studies, they attended International College.
