Diego Allen

Diego Allen has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Diego is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Routable since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Paladin, PBC as a Software Engineer from June 2017 to September 2021. In this role, they collaborated with the CTO to design the system architecture and expanded their responsibilities to include writing technical specifications, conducting code reviews, and participating in team meetings. Diego also added Single Sign On and Single Logout capabilities to the backend system using the SAML Protocol.

Before joining Paladin, PBC, Diego worked at Toptal as a Software Engineer from November 2016 to September 2021. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at Scrapinghub from December 2015 to August 2016, where they worked on web scraping projects using Python and the Scrapy Framework. Diego also contributed to building web scraping spiders for popular sites with large data sets.

Diego's earlier experience includes working at TAXit! as a Software Developer from March 2015 to November 2015, where they built an invoice validation API using Flask and Python. Diego utilized Redis as an asynchronous task queue for the API. Prior to this, they worked at Sodep S.A. as a Software Developer from August 2013 to January 2015. In this role, they built a map visualization system using JavaScript, SVG, and the Snap.svg library for an indoor navigation system.

Diego Allen completed their bachelor's degree in Informática (Computer Science) from Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, between the years 2008 and 2014. Diego also obtained several certifications in various subjects related to computer science. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, as well as in Data Structures. In 2013, they acquired a certification in Startup Engineering and Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1. Additionally, Diego has completed courses in Artificial Intelligence for Robotics and Programming Languages, although the specific completion dates for these certifications are not provided.
