Renee Kochevar Ph.D., Alm

Renee Kochevar, PhD, ALM is an experienced professional with a diverse background in clinical research and development. Renee is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Research at Route 92 Medical since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Clinical Affairs at NEUROVASC TECHNOLOGIES INC from October 2021 to December 2022. Additionally, they worked as the Senior Director of Clinical Research at Edwards Lifesciences from September 2019 to September 2021, where they led various clinical programs and introduced LEAN methodology. Before that, Renee served as the Head of Clinical Development at Haemonetics, where they developed a clinical trial program for a thrombelastography system. Renee also served as the Vice President of Clinical Affairs at ZOLL Medical Corporation, where they founded and managed the Clinical Affairs department. Renee has held director-level roles at Satiety, Inc., Oraya Therapeutics, Inc., Broncus Technologies, Inc., and St. Jude Medical, where they gained further expertise in clinical operations and programs.

Dr. Renee Kochevar has an extensive education history. Renee completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology, specializing in Environmental, Populational & Organismic studies from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1988. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colorado State University Pueblo in 1990.

To further their qualifications, Dr. Kochevar received their Doctor of Philosophy degree from UC San Diego in 1995, specializing in Clinical Psychology with a subspecialty in Behavioral Medicine. Renee'seducation journey continued with a Master of Liberal Arts degree in Natural Sciences, focusing on Medical Anthropology, which they obtained from Harvard University in 2005.
