Alex Dings

Head of Product & Director of Customer Success at Route42

Alex Dings has a diverse range of work experience. Alex started their career as a Co-Founder and COO at BitSensor, where they focused on making applications attack aware. Alex worked in this role from January 2015 to June 2019.

Afterward, they joined ON2IT Cybersecurity as a Marketing Coordinator. In this position, they provided marketing and strategic advice, specifically in the cybersecurity portfolio of ON2IT. Alex held this role from July 2019 to August 2019.

Alex then moved to Route42, where they held multiple positions. Alex started as the Director of Customer Success in September 2019 and served in this role until February 2022. Alex was later promoted to become the Head of Product and Director of Customer Success in January 2022, a position they currently hold.

During their time at Eindhoven University of Technology, Alex worked as a Consultant from May 2015 to March 2017. Alex also served as a Student Advisor from September 2014 to March 2017.

Additionally, Alex has an entrepreneurial background. Alex co-founded and chaired GSA Weert from December 2013 to July 2014, and similarly founded and chaired GSA Philips van Horne from September 2013 to July 2014.

Alex has also been involved in various other roles, including being a member, designer, and general member support at Leerlingenraad Philips van Horne SG from November 2012 to July 2014. Alex also worked as a Coordinator at Sinterklaashuis in 2013.

Lastly, Alex gained experience in journalism at Schoolkrant de Echo. Alex held positions such as Kernredactie, Hoofdredacteur & Hoofd design from April 2010 to March 2012, Redacteur & Hoofd design from November 2008 to April 2010, and as a Medewerker in October-November 2008.

Alex Dings's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at Philips van Horne SG, where they pursued a degree in Nature and Science (N&T) as part of the VWO program. They completed their studies at this school in 2014. During their time at Philips van Horne SG, Alex also obtained the Anglia acCEPT Proficiency distinction (CFR level C1) from Chichester College in August 2011.

After completing their studies at Philips van Horne SG, Alex moved on to Eindhoven University of Technology in 2014. At this university, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Science & Web Science. Their studies at Eindhoven University of Technology concluded in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Alex also obtained the M14-ENGLISH A LANG AND LIT -HL certification from The International Baccalaureate in August 2014.
