Routes to Work
Gillian Quail has extensive experience in youth support and community services, currently serving as a Post Destination Support Worker at Routes to Work since November 2022. Previously, Gillian worked as an Employment Facilitator/College Mentor for Action for Children, providing holistic support to vulnerable young people in educational settings. Other notable roles include Play Services Officer at CultureNL, Family Support Worker at CHILDREN 1ST, and Community Worker/Senior Play Ranger with Playbusters, where Gillian developed and coordinated play activities in partnership with various organizations. Gillian's educational achievements include a Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development from the University of the West of Scotland and a Bachelor's degree in Community Education from the University of Strathclyde.

Routes To Work are a registered charity founded in 2002, offering a free, confidential service helping unemployed residents in the North Lanarkshire to access opportunities in employment, education and training. With the help of local businesses, we prepare and place our clients into sustainable employment. We offer a bespoke and free recruitment service to businesses, working in collaboration to create positive economic and social impact in North Lanarkshire.
