Chris Walz

Chris Walz has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management. Chris began their career in 1984 at UPS where they worked as a driver and supervisor. In 1989, they joined Roadnet Technologies Inc. as Manager of the GIS Section and Supervisor of the Cartographic Services section. In 1995, they joined RouteSmart Technologies as National Account Manager and Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for developing sales tools to earn new business, responding to Requests for Proposal, and performing competitive analysis. Chris also influenced all aspects of the business, from sales and marketing strategy to client experience and product positioning and development.

Chris Walz obtained a B.S. in Geography from Western Michigan University between 1983 and 1987. Chris then obtained a certification in the Neuroscience of Influence Program from the SmartTribes Institute in May 2016. In May 2014, they were certified as a RouteSmart Certified Routing Professional from RouteSmart Technologies. In June 2010, they obtained a certification in Mastering the Complex Sale from Prime Resource Group. In June 2007, they obtained a certification in the ROI Selling Workshop from ROI4Sales, Inc. Lastly, in January 1997, they obtained a certification in Sandler Sales Methodologies from the Sandler Sales Institute.
