Peter Scheyen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Peter has held various leadership roles in different companies, contributing to the development and delivery of innovative products and solutions.

Starting from their most recent role, Scheyen is currently working as the VP Engineering at RouteThis since August 2023. In this position, they help internet service providers and smart home companies improve their customer support for Wifi services.

Prior to this, Scheyen served as the VP of Engineering at Tempo Software from December 2021 to August 2023. Tempo Software acquired Roadmunk, and Scheyen was responsible for the delivery and operations of both the Roadmunk product line and Tempo's emerging products.

Before joining Tempo Software, Scheyen was the VP Engineering at Roadmunk from May 2020 to January 2023. At Roadmunk, they played a key role in delivering and maintaining Roadmunk's SaaS solutions on AWS.

Scheyen also worked as the SVP of Products and Technology at Paystone from May 2018 to March 2020. During their tenure, they led teams in developing and delivering frictionless payment, donation, and loyalty solutions.

Prior to their role at Paystone, Scheyen held the position of CTO at Cineplex Digital Media from May 2012 to May 2018. Peter successfully delivered digital in-store merchandising solutions for various industries and was responsible for the architecture, research, development, and technology roadmap of the entire Cineplex Digital Media solution suite.

From September 2009 to May 2012, Scheyen served as CTO at Richard Ivey School of Business. In this role, they implemented technology solutions to enhance collaboration, productivity, and student experience.

Before their time at the Richard Ivey School of Business, Scheyen worked as VP of Technology at Comcast from December 2008 to September 2009. Peter provided overall systems and software architecture guidance and played a significant role in merging development teams after three companies merged under Comcast.

Scheyen also served as VP of Engineering at TVWorks Canada from September 2005 to November 2008. During this period, they led the successful delivery of major releases and grew the engineering organization significantly.

Peter began their career as Director Client Engineering at Liberate Technologies from September 2003 to June 2005, where they delivered major Java middleware releases and invented a pioneering Java API set for television.

In addition to their professional experience, Scheyen also worked as a Consultant at The Minery from 2014 to 2016.

Overall, Peter Scheyen has a broad range of experience in engineering leadership and product development across various industries, including technology, media, and retail.

Peter Scheyen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Computer Science with Psychology from Western University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Peter later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university, which they completed between 1993 and 1994. In 2011, Peter attended the Richard Ivey School of Business for the Ivey Executive Program.
