Ken Ngyou

Ken Ngyou has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ken has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise in technology, data governance, and business intelligence.

Ken started their career at HSBC as a Project Officer, where they led the strategy and architecture of a large Data Warehouse project. Ken then joined IBM as a Senior Certified Architect, where they were involved in all aspects of architectural design and played a key role in implementing successful engagements.

After IBM, Ken joined The RSC Group as the Director of Business Intelligence, where they planned and built a profitable BI consulting practice focused on financial performance reporting. Ken then worked at BC Hydro as a Senior Architect, responsible for data integration and developing Canonical data models.

Ken's next role was at Bit Stew Systems, where they served as the Director of Architecture Services. Here, they built and sustained an enterprise architecture service based on industry best practices.

Ken then joined The University of British Columbia as a Senior Architect, specializing in Data Governance. Ken built the Data Governance practice from scratch, ensuring integrity and consistency of the organization's data.

In 2019, Ken became an Advisor to Charli AI, a startup focused on intelligent automation for the digital workplace. Ken provided advice on go-to-market strategies and aligned business goals with technology decisions.

Finally, Ken served as the Chief Technology Officer at Routezilla Software Corp, where they led the development and deployment of web-based software, ensuring it aligned with the company's vision and mission. Ken also oversaw technology development and planning for risk and growth.

Before that, they had completed some studies in Computer Science at Langara College from 1983 to 1984. Additionally, Ken Ngyou has obtained certifications in IT architecture, including the title of Senior IT Architect from The Open Group in January 2008.
