Eduardo Ruiz has worked in the fields of computer vision research and academia since 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Research Internship, and Instructor/Scholar at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. From 2013 to 2019, they were a PhD Researcher at the University of Bristol, where they developed real-time detection/classification algorithms for 3D data. Eduardo also served as a Teaching Assistant and Postgraduate Student. Since 2019, they have been a Computer Vision Research at Rovco, and since 2021 they have been a Computer Vision Research at Vaarst.
Eduardo Ruiz obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México between 2007 and 2012. Eduardo then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Machine Learning, Data Mining and High Performance Computing from the University of Bristol in 2013-2014. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Bristol in 2019.
