Teresa Malcolm

Dr. Teresa Dean Malcolm, MD, FACOG, MBA, CPE is a Certified Physician Executive and a Physician Development Coach who approaches every challenge with an open and willing spirit. She is zealous in her belief an exceptional experience in clinical care, the human(e) experience, can be achieved. She has served in executive positions in a multi-state healthcare system integrating people with purpose and process, and successfully aligning the team’s ideas with a compelling vision. Understanding leaders are responsible for the people who are responsible for the results, Dr. Malcolm is committed to elevating team members through inclusivity to reach extraordinary results.

Dr. Malcolm is a graduate of Tulane University, School of Medicine. She completed her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated from the Phoenix Integrated Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a board-certified OBGYN and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her journey of service has evolved from care delivery at the bedside to leadership in the boardroom, and beyond. Dr. Malcolm is the Founder of Master Physician Leaders, a coaching firm dedicated to physicians thinking and operating in new ways to thrive as they lead. In her role as a Physician Development Coach, she strives to be a trusted partner of her Physician colleagues. By deepening their awareness personally and professionally, Dr. Malcolm empowers physician leaders to realize their full potential as difference-makers in the modern era of rapid healthcare transformation.
