Antti Szurawitzki

Game Lead at Rovio

Antti Szurawitzki has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Antti began their career as a Japanese Customer Assistant for Tumlare Corporation, where they assisted Japanese travelers in Finland. Antti then worked as a Founder of Styge Recordings, an independent record label specializing in Instrumental Hip Hop.

In 2006, Antti joined Redlynx as the Lead Internal QA, overseeing quality assurance for the company. Antti later became the QA Manager at Helsinki Heavy Metal, where they managed a software development project for Nokia touchscreen phones and created a quality management systems section for QA processes.

Antti then transitioned to the gaming industry, working as a QA Specialist at Kuuasema and PR & Marketing Specialist at RedLynx, focused on promoting the WiiWare game Motoheroz and Trials games in Japan. Antti also had a role as a Cultural Specialist at Digital Chocolate, where they worked on ports and R&D for the Facebook game Millionaire City in Japan.

Antti joined RedLynx, a Ubisoft Studio, in 2012 as an Associate Producer and later became a Producer. Antti led the development and launch of Trials Frontier, a popular mobile game, including overseeing a team of developers and collaborating on the launch in Chinese Android stores. Antti also worked on updates for the game Motoheroz to enhance its F2P monetization components.

In 2017, Antti joined Grand Cru Ltd as a Senior Producer, before transitioning to their current role as a Senior Producer and Game Lead at Rovio Entertainment Corporation in 2018.

Antti Szurawitzki received a Master's degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Helsinki from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained JLPT Level 2 from the Japan Foundation before 2003. Antti also studied Japanese at ARC Academy Shinjuku for a year in 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Japanese Studies and Arabic Studies at Freie Universität Berlin from 1999 to 2002.
