Project Engineer at RoviSys

Brent Gilbertson has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Brent is currently working as a Project Engineer at RoviSys, starting in August 2022. Previously, from 2020 to 2022, they served as a Controls Engineer at Kindeva Drug Delivery, where they diagnosed and improved control systems on multiple lines. During this time, they followed cGMP practices while implementing changes to the manufacturing lines.

Before that, from 2017 to 2020, Brent worked as a Controls Engineer at United Sortation Solutions. In this role, they designed, programmed, and commissioned sorting systems for distribution centers. Brent also created an adaptable C# application to aid in product design.

From 2014 to 2017, they were a Controls/Process Engineer at C&D Technologies, primarily focusing on improving control systems for production and process improvement. Brent successfully coordinated multiple projects aimed at replacing or enhancing existing systems.

Brent's work experience also includes an internship at Primus International in 2012, where they focused on improving assembly quality and tracking down and suggesting solutions for various problems.

Prior to their position at Primus International, Brent served in the United States Marine Corps from 2005 to 2009. Brent was promoted to the rank of Corporal (E-4) and deployed to Iraq twice as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear defense specialist (CBRN). Additionally, they taught classes at gas chambers and served as an instructor during exercises.

Overall, Brent has demonstrated their expertise in controls engineering, process improvement, and project coordination in various industries.

Brent Gilbertson attained their education in a methodical manner, focusing on the field of engineering. Brent first pursued an Associate's degree in Pre-Engineering at Green River College from 2009 to 2011. Seeking further expertise, they then enrolled at the University of Washington from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
