Penny McPherson-Myers

Penny McPherson-Myers has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a Board Member for the Tri State Consortium. In 2005, they became the President of the New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund Professional Association NJEOFPA until 2007. From 2011 to 2016, they held the position of Assistant Vice President for Academic Enrichment & EOF/MAP Director at Rowan University. Following that, they worked as the Associate Vice President for Diversity and Organizational Effectiveness at Rowan University from 2016 to 2019. Starting in 2018, Penny also became an Adjunct Professor at Peirce College. Penny'smost recent role is the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Rowan University since January 2019. Penny McPherson-Myers completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Glassboro State College in 1992. Penny then pursued a Master's degree in Student Counseling and Personnel Services at Rowan University from 2003 to 2005. In 2007, they furthered their education by obtaining a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Rowan University. Recently, in 2022, they attended the HERS Institute for professional development, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
