Luke Smyth is an experienced strength and conditioning coach and rowing educator with a strong background in sports performance and exercise science. Currently serving as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Galway Rowing Club since January 2024 and as a Rowing Ireland Coach Educator from January 2019, Luke has held various coaching positions, including Assistant Coach at NUI Galway Boat Club and Head Coach at Grainne Mhaol Rowing Club. Educationally, Luke holds a Master of Science in Sports Performance from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport from the University of Scranton. With extensive coaching experience across multiple organizations, Luke is dedicated to developing athletes and promoting a supportive training environment.
