Rafael Helguero

Rafael Helguero is the Country Head at Minera Bateas S.A.C., the Peruvian subsidiary of Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. that operates the Caylloma Mine in Arequipa. He joined Minera Bateas in 2013 as Administration and Finance Manager and from 2017 to 2018 temporarily served as the Administration and Finance Manager of Mansfield Minera, the Argentinian subsidiary that operates the Lindero Mine in Salta. Rafael has over 20 years’ experience in various management roles in finance, organization and business development, including process improvement, innovation and cultural transformation, in the banking, agribusiness and mining sectors. Rafael holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piura in Peru and an MBA from RSM Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
