Luke Masters currently serves as the Advisor Health and Safety at Hancock Iron Ore since July 2025. Prior to this role, Luke held multiple positions at Iluka Resources from February 2022 to July 2025, including Health Safety Superintendent and Health and Safety Specialist, where responsibilities involved developing and enhancing management systems and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Health and Safety Advisor, providing exposure to risk assessment and management in the mineral sands industry, and as an Undergraduate HSE Student with the Department of Education, Western Australia, working on psychological hazards. Additional experience as an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor at Mobile Health Consulting involved creating an online onboarding program for a government client. Luke holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, Safety, and Environment from Curtin University, completed in 2021.
