Abraham Henningsgaard has extensive work experience in various roles. Abraham started their career at Cargill, Inc. in 2002, where they worked as a Project Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, and Sweetener Project Engineer. At Cargill, they managed capital projects, implemented process improvements, and oversaw maintenance programs.
In 2005, Abraham joined Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. as a Project Engineer, where they worked on interstate and primary roads contracts for the Florida Department of Transportation. Abraham later became a Project Manager, responsible for managing a multiyear, $25M government contract for the management of interstate roadway facility maintenance. Abraham then served as Regional Manager and eventually Vice President at the company.
Throughout their career, Abraham has demonstrated strong expertise in project management, budgeting, and process improvement within the transportation and manufacturing sectors.
Abraham Henningsgaard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Abraham has also obtained several certifications in their field. In 2007, they became a Florida Certified General Contractor, licensed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. In 2011, they obtained a license as a Licensed Professional Engineer from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. However, it is unclear if they have obtained licenses as a Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois and the State of South Carolina, as the obtained month and year for those licenses are not provided.
