Omar Alharbi

Omar Alharbi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Currently, they are the Co-founder and Chairman of the Board at Herz Investment Company, a position they have held since June 2023. Additionally, they are also a Co-founder and Board Member at the same company, a role they have been in since April 2021.

Prior to their current roles, they served as a Board Member at Gulf Energy Investment starting from April 2022. Omar was also a Corporate Finance Manager at Rua Al Madinah Holding Company from March 2022.

In 2021, Omar worked as a Project Director at Shamal Technologies from December 2021 to February 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, they held various positions at Al Maqar Development Company, including Administration Services Manager, Secretary of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, Secretary of the Board Audit Committee, and Acting Chief Financial Officer.

Before Al Maqar, Omar was an Administrative Manager at Shahini Distribution from December 2014 to October 2017.

Omar'scareer began at KAUST in 2009, where they worked as a Treasury Specialist and Financial Analyst in the Treasury Department until December 2014. Prior to that, they were a Database Analyst in the Supply Management department at SABIC from September 2008 to March 2009.

Omar's earliest role was as an Assistant Financial Analyst at FALCOM Financial Services in 2007, a position they held from December 2007 to February 2008.

Omar Alharbi completed their bachelor's degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, from 1999 to 2007. Omar has also obtained additional certifications, including "Professional Leader: Leading with Emotional Intelligence" from the Oxford Management Centre UK in November 2022 and "Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners" from LinkedIn in October 2022.
